Dear Friends and Family,
We are all safe and sound and have all finally arrived at St. Petersburg! Pr.
Bill & Sally Moberly met Fran, Hannah, Brian, Rachel, Emily, Angela, and
Pr. David at the Pulkovo Airport and we traveled by microbus (though we
had a flat tire on the trip from the airport, which our driver changed in only
20 minutes!) to the ...
Dear Friends and Family,
This is just a quick note to let you know we are all safe and sound, only we
are still in the USA! However, we do understand that team member, Jim
Morrison (having taken an entirely different travel route), is winging his way
toward St. Petersburg, as this is being written.
Our flight out of Chicago to Berlin was cancelled...
Dear Prayer Partner,
We had another great day of camp today! The time has just flown by and it is so
hard to believe we just have two days left with the students. One girl said today that
she doesn't want us to leave, but stay to do another week of camp with them.
Some of our teachers are really enjoying this week. Having older children means
that ...
Dear Prayer Partner,
We are now into our second day of our second week of camp. So far things are
going great! This week we have a bigger range of ages, so many classes are older
and have a higher level of English. We had some discipline issues in two groups but
today things are going much better.
Bill and Sally Moberly are getting ready to go to St.
Dear Prayer Partner,
We are now completing our first week at Friendship English Language Camp. Friday was the last day for all the camps. Wow! It seems as though the camp just started! The days were busy and tiring but immeasurably rewarding.
This year was our sixth year holding the Little Lyceum camp for primary children and we had 7 classes of
...
Dear Prayer Partner,
Zdrastvuytye! (Hello) from all of us in Petrozavodsk and Kondapoga! It is now Wednesday, and all camps at Little Lyceum and the Camp at Kondapoga are now well underway!
Two of our team members here in Petrozavodsk, Wayne the Photographer and Sid the Clown went to visit the camp at Kondapoga today. Wayne went to give moral support...
Dear Prayer Team Member,
Hello from Petrozavodsk! We have now been here a few days, and we have gotten pretty well settled into our host families. The weather up here is almost a month behind Minnesota (for those of you up there in the North), so the flowering trees are now just in bloom.
On Saturday, after our second installment of Team Training &...
Dear Family & Friends,
We are happy to say that the Lord has answered prayer and all of our team members are now here in Petrozavodsk with all of our baggage!
We had a good first night’s sleep out at the seminary in the country at Koltushe and those of us who had our luggage were able to leave on the bus for Petrozavodsk on Thursday ...
The Petrozavodsk & Kondopoga, Russia Team is flying to St. Petersburg, Russia today, beginning their three week journey, where they will teach hundreds of students over 2 weeks of English Bible Camps in public schools. Please pray for them as they travel, and for all aspects of the trip, that many lives would be touched with the life changing ...
Catching Up
Have you ever had so much going on that you could not share it with the wide world of the people you know until you had a sense of how things were going to turn out?
Have you ever finally figured it all out only to realize that you then had the problem of how to begin? Welcome to my dilemma. Much has changed, is changing and will create ...
Dear Prayer Partners,
We would like to update you as to what has been happening here the past few days. First of all, thank you so much for praying. We received many emails expressing your prayer support. I gladly relayed those messages to my co-workers; we were all grateful. Despite some difficult issues and high tension this past week, His peace ...
